The Unifeeder Group is an integrated logistics company with the most comprehensive and best-connected feeder network and rapidly growing shortsea business in Europe, the Middle East, the wider Indian Subcontinent and Asia region with connectivity to more than 150 ports.

As a key player in global and regional supply chains, Unifeeder Group plays a central role as a facilitator of integrated supply chains, by providing efficient and sustainable transport solutions. By expanding the network, coming up with innovative solutions, and being agile in day-to-day operations, Unifeeder Group enables customers to concentrate on their core business in an ever more competitive and integrated world.

In 2017, Unifeeder Group started using the IMDG Code e-learning Standard course to train office-based staff in Europe. Since then, Unifeeder Group has trained approximately 100 people every year with IMDG Code e-learning courses. To keep the employees up to date with their training, Unifeeder Group uses the IMDG Code Refresher courses on a regular basis.

Jan Sørensen, Manager, Customs & HSSE commented, “Unifeeder Group has offices and employees located in many countries. The IMDG Code e-learning solutions gives us the ability to manage a cost-effective, standardised training programme, country by country.

By using initial and refresher training, we keep our employees up to date with the IMDG Code. And the course management system allows us to monitor training progress across the organization.

The flexibility of the e-learning approach means that we can react fast to changes in our organization and geographies, adjusting our training programme accordingly.”

IMDG Code e-learning is a cost-effective online training tool for all shore side staff involved in the handling and transport of dangerous goods by sea. It gives high-quality training that complies with both the general awareness and function-specific training requirements in the IMDG Code.
