National Cargo Bureau (NCB) is a not-for-profit surveying organization that carries out inspections of both bulk and container ships. NCB inspects about 31,000 dangerous goods containers leaving U.S. ports annually for container carriers to make sure cargo being loaded on their ships is safe. NCB Hazcheck, previously known as Exis Technologies, has been part of the NCB Group since 2018 and together their mission is the Safety of Life and Cargo at Sea.
