CINS

Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) was established in 2011 to share information on all cargo related incidents. The information is uploaded into the CINS online database which is accessible by CINS members. There are now 18 shipping line members. It was first introduced in 2011 by five of the world’s biggest container lines:

• CMA-CGM
• Evergreen
• Hapag Lloyd
• Maersk Line
• Mediterranean Shipping Company

NCB Hazcheck (Exis Technologies) developed and maintains CINS, the global web facility supporting the CINS project. NCB Hazcheck is an Advisory member of CINS.
