IMDG Code training courses are mandatory for all shore-side staff involved in the handling and transport of dangerous goods by sea. Exis has developed IMDG Code Online Training (e-learning courses) to meet the need to train large numbers of staff. IMDG Code e-learning is a Certified Det Norske Veritas Learning Programme.
The courses deliver cost-effective, high quality online training for shippers and forwarders, container packers and consolidators, shipping line operations and booking staff, stevedores, port staff, cargo surveyors and executives/managers.
The courses comply with the IMDG Code training requirements in Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Code.
The courses can be purchased with additional modules:
49 CFR module – looks at the additional requirements in 49 CFR when shipping into/from the USA under the IMDG Code provisions.
ADR module – looks at the additional provisions and/or variations applicable to the road legs of a combined road/sea journey moving under the IMDG Code provisions
IMDG Code training courses are accessed over the internet with a pc, laptop or tablet device (iPad, Android or Windows). We also offer SCORM content packages developed to the SCORM 1.2 standard for import into SCORM-compliant learning management systems.
IMDG Code e-learning is sponsored by the TT Club and supported by ICHCA. It has been approved for use by several competent authorities worldwide. The courses are used by 6 of the top 10 shipping container lines for their global training programmes.
