IMO Vega Database 26
Developed jointly by IMO and DNV AS, the IMO Vega Database 26 is a powerful database which includes historical data and benefits from a sophisticated search function. It includes up-to-date texts of core IMO requirements (including IMDG Code, SOLAS, MARPOL and IAMSAR Manuals) as well as pollution prevention and safety-related documents in English.
IMO-Vega Version 26 (2022 Edition) is an essential tool for anyone involved in shipping: ship owners and operators , shipbuilders, classification societies, casualty investigators, governments, insurers and underwriters, port authorities, surveyors and many others. This update includes documents from Assembly 32, MEPC 77 and MSC 104, and circulars published until the end of April 2022. This release includes the HSSC Survey Guidelines 2021, the PSC Procedure 2021 and the 2021 Non-exhaustive list of obligations under the III Code, all adopted by Assembly 32. MSC 104 adopted amendments to Load Lines Convention (88) and IGC Code, plus performance standards for S-VDRs and for VDRs. MEPC 77 adopted three resolutions, including one new guideline.
In addition to the content update, the advanced search function for SOLAS-related instruments has been improved. This is specified in Appendix A of the user manual.
